Gilbert Arenas sat out Saturday’s intersquad game, but NO FAR Wiz fans, he IS expected to play in the preseason opener. Arenas, who had season-ending left knee surgery in April, was held out for what the team called precautionary reasons.

Washington’s first preseason game is Tuesday at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
