Arenas/Wizards week one in review(poor)

Gilbert Arenas and the Washington Wizards have gotten off to a TOUGH start. Falling 0-3 for the first time since 1992, and now Gilbert has a bad knee.

The season started Halloween night with an overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers. Gilbert did all he could, including hitting a 3 at the buzzer in regulation to send the game to overtime- as myself, and GilbertArenasClubman were in attendance in Indy.

Gilbert scored 34 points on 10-25 shooting and grabbed 8 boards

Then the Wizards ran into a buzzsaw in the Boston Celtics, as the Wiz fell 103-83, in front of a sold out crowd in Boston. Gilbert had 21 points in 40 minutes, but shot poorly, 5-20 from the field, and 0-5 from 3.

The Wizards then had to play again, and got beat at home against the Orlando Magic. Gil went 5-15 from the field, including 0-4 from 3 point.

Let’s hope the Wizards have more luck this week at New Jersey, and at home against Denver!
